Storybooks for children

1. I write storybooks for children in my free time. I also do the illustrations for the books. It is my passion. I write in Malay and English.

2. I have written and published a few books in Malay for children who are just beginning to read. The English version awaits publication.

3. These books are suitable for kindergarten children and primary pupils in their first year. The language and vocabulary are fairly easy and repetitive to facilitate reading skills acquisition among beginners.

4. I suppose the stories are both entertaining and informative. I employ “indirect storytelling” to stimulate children’s thinking. Attractive colour pictures illustrate the contents in these books to facilitate children’s understanding.

5. I believe in giving children books as gifts. Good books can help to inculcate good reading habits among young children.
